Beautiful Patio Roses

The front patio is a place where I often sit and stare at the Island Bed. I make outrageous plans, which usually include planting specimen trees and redirecting the Choiysa.

The rose on the post in the foreground is a climbing Masquerade.

This is an early photograph from the Moosey archives, but the plantings haven't really changed at all (the Choisya is twice as big). I still look forward to the tall spikes of the foxgloves which live in the middle of the Island. There are also two bushes of the rose Sally Holmes behind the Mexican Orange Blossom.
