Island Garden Back View

This is another view of the top of the summer Island Bed, looking down to the house. The plants at the top of this garden are quite slow to fill out.

To the right of the Yellow Wave flax is a young Cornus (or Dogwood) which I hope will eventually become the most beautiful specimen tree. It has plenty of room to grow, and I can see it from the house.

Sorry about the scruffy looking grass.
The Back of the Border

This area houses my much loved and totally ignored Bishop of Llandaff Dahlia. There are no photographs of this beauty with the dark wine coloured foliage, but for the first time this Autumn I saved a seed head. I'm not sure if it will reproduce true to form, but I'm going to try!
