Pittosporum in the Grass

Here is one of the Pittosporums which decided to grow in the grass by the Dog-Path Garden. So I've dug a small garden island around it, and put the park bench alongside.

I may replace this tree with a more ornamental one.
Pittosporum Island

This Pittosporum originally self seeded in the messy grass - this was before I started digging the gardens. Let's hope I don't get the urge to chop it down completely - I have been known to become suddenly anti-Pittosporum in a BIG way!

A Tree Trim?

It possibly just needs a light trim each year - if I can remember! Or possibly just the lower branches - I must restrain myself from giving it the chop!

The seat under the Pittosporum is my original garden park bench - the wood has gone rather grey and I would advise the more mature garden visitor not to sit on it!
