The Garden of my Dreams

The garden of my dreams is a delightful mixture of light-handed control and naturally overflowing energy. There's a variety of greenery - fat glossy leaves, thin spikes, variegated foliage, shapely overhead trees.

 Very happy this spring.

There's sun and shade, flowers at all levels. The garden shimmers with lots of love, caring, and thoughtfulness - all year round.

No frosts yet to kill off the Dahlias.

All the garden seats are freshly painted. And everything that I should have done six months ago (or six years ago) has been done. Right. OK. Oops.

Two other Phormiums which are spreading over the lawn.

At the end of a wonderful gardening day the dream version of me is sitting demurely in a comfy chair, hair washed and brushed, lovely clean clothes on, detective story in hand, beautiful garden views from every window.

Dare to dream!

Actually, apart from the garden seats being painted and my hair being brushed, the above is quite close to reality. The garden of my dreams is pretty much my own garden! Dare to dream, I reckon!
