Liquidambar Tree
The trees in the Jelly Bean Border are all deciduous. Autumn colours are sparse, though the Tulip tree's leaves do turn pale yellow. But wait until winter - this is the Liquidambar tree's time to glow.
Winter Liquidambar Tree
The Berberis on the edge of the border turns its deepest red at the same time. I really enjoy this easy-care, tough shrub, though it does need pruning from time to time.
