Red Canna Lilly
This red canna lily flowers from mid summer. Its leaves are subtly striped with dark red and dark green. It started life in Middle Garden, back when the trees were tiny and things were sunny.

In recent years there hasn't been quite enough sun in this garden (the new trees have grown) so I've shifted the canna and placed it temporarily in a pot. I think it's just as happy.
