New Rhododendron

Here is one of my new rhododendrons, pictured before I planted it - in the WRONG place. This is the only time I've seen it flower - after several relocations, here's hoping I've finally found it a suitable spot.

Beautiful, and hopefully soon to be rediscovered.
New Rhododendron

You wouldn't think that a reasonably intelligent woman gardener who thinks about her garden every single day of the year could misplace such a beautiful plant, would you? Hmm...

I think I've learnt my lesson, and am eagerly waiting for these beautiful cream and pink flowers to reappear. The new rhododendron garden (cross fingers!) is moist, sheltered from the wind and the mid-day sun, and I hold great hopes for the future of all the shrubs in it.
