Roses and Helenium

The two house-side arches are covered with climbing roses from early summer on. The Septic Tank Garden to the left is a riot of summer colour.

 Roses everywhere.

The path through the house-side arches gets quite interesting in late summer when the yellow Heleniums have burst into flower and flopped over everything. Below is a late summer picture from the Archives - everything looks really low to the ground!

 Heleniums are quite invasive.

The Septic Tank border to the left is more restrained, with the late blooms of the roses Prosperity and White Flower Carpet keeping order.
