Blue Pond Reflections

The day I took this photograph the air was wintry and cold, and the sky looked incredibly blue reflected in the water.

The picture below was taken in an earlier summer, looking back towards the house.

The water in the pond looks quite cloudy - this will be the silt (which flows in when it's raining in the mountains). It also looks quite cold - believe me, it is!
