Garden Border Pictures

The borders contain too many plants to mention all by name. For me the spikey plants always stand out, and I enjoy the repetition of flaxes, astelias and tussocks throughout the longer borders. In my garden the borders are interesting in all seasons, as our winters are reasonably mild. All borders are edged with river stones, and surrounded by lawns.

The garden borders which edge the Pond Paddock are full of grasses, phormiums, and beautiful flowering shrubs. This is a late spring photograph, when the deep pink rhododendrons are in bloom.

The Hen House Garden in Autumn...
