Nandina & Lupin

I planted a Nandina on the corner of the Island Bed for colour and texture contrast. This picture shows the Nandina with a flowery Lupin neighbour. Its foliage is tinged with red in autumn.

Nandina is a compact well behaved shrub and a great color contrast for neighbouring plants like the Lupins

Nandina would get my prize for being one of the most well-behaved shrubs in the garden. It has beautiful changes of colour. And it never ever seems to grow any bigger!
