Two Silly Cats

These two silly cats are acting out their duty as guardians of the Pond Paddock beyond the archway. They are desperately trying to ignore each other. This is an essential cat skill, practised often.

 Sifter and Stumpy
cat sentries

There is a Senecio to the right of the archway, and further along a fine Pittosporum (Lemonwood), which I transplanted boldly in the first year. Apparently these trees do not like to be shifted, so I guess I was lucky.

And the two cats? The tabby to the left is Sifter, and the grey to the right is Stumpy.
