Libertia New Zealand Native

Here is a close-up of the rusty orange Libertia, a New Zealand native. It's a great landscaping plant. Originally it was only seen in council roadside plantings, but recently the glossy magazines have discovered it. Hmm...

You'll see from the photograph that the Libertia is actually striped with orange over green. It's stiff and tough, growing no more than a third of a meter (one foot) high.
