Gardening Articles 2017

My gardening journal contains all my daily gardening thoughts, exploits, inspirations, and revelations. But I still like to write on gardening themes, so these ramblings will be collected and presented as 'Articles' on this page. 2017 is a prime number, and I am in my gardening prime, after all. So let's hope that some interesting, thoughtful writing follows!

My spring garden blues...My spring garden blues......
Sings : 'My garden's looking gorgeous, I've got the spring garden blues... Yes my garden's looking gorgeous, I've got the spring garden blues... Blue's my favourite colour, I love my spring garden blues..
Old Photographs...Old Photographs......

Cricket is a ball game played by two teams - and it can go on for ages (five full days for a test match). So cricket commentaries obviously go on for ages too, and a gardener can get heaps of gardening done while listening - on a cricket radio!
Oops! and Eek! and Aargh!Oops! and Eek! and Aargh!...
The language styles of garden bloggers are as varied as the gardens they tend. Some bloggers think before they commit, while others let their words loose to whizz around like random insects on the wing. Take three tiny, polite words of exclamation - 'Oops!' and 'Eek!' and 'Aargh!'
Celebrations...Celebrations......
How to officially celebrate the beginning of 2017? A New Year's Resolution? Brave to suggest such a thing to a random gardener. 'I promise to be less random' would be a good start, hee hee. Then (maybe) important tasks would be finished...
Looking Back...Looking Back......
Yeay, 2016! I finished you off with a prolonged grunt and an expansive flourish. Just so! Weeding for six hours! With a short break for late lunch on the pale green Adirondack seats. Weeding, weeding, weeding...
