Peach Pink Rose

Here's yet another unknown pink rose - but this one's a peach! I do have the best excuse for not knowing its name - it was here when we came to Mooseys, all those years ago.

Originally the rose was planted on the edge of the Island Bed, and one autumn I moved it further into the middle. Then, typically, I forgot about it, and neighbouring plants bossed in. But this summer, thanks to some pretty deft trimming and watering, the peach-pink rose has enjoyed a better standard of garden living.

The petals have a satin sheen.

It really is a beautiful colour, and the pink and cream Phormium nearby sets it off really nicely.
