Gardening Articles 2023

My gardening journal has rather become the focus of my garden writing. Last year any ideas I had for articles were promptly popped into my journal. Maybe in 2023 I'll be able to write witty, interesting articles again. If I do so, they will arrive, gift-wrapped with a huge bow, in this directory! We'll see...

New Year Resolutions for 2024New Year Resolutions for 2024...
I've had a good idea about making my New Years' Resolutions for 2024. I'm going to ask those nearest and dearest to me to suggest suitable ones. The theory is that friends and family will be able to clearly identify things that need improvement. Yes?
The Best of 2023The Best of 2023...
It's the end of another gardening year. One reflects deeply, and then compiles a list of 'Best of's. But summer flowers usually win everything - spring blossom and autumn leaf colours are firmly out of sight, out of mind. So in the interests of seasonal inclusivity 2023 has some exciting new awards.

New chooksNew chooks...
Henworld is a circular garden near the old Hen House, planted with shiny green Agapanthus and fast filling up with ornamental chook statues. They are all shapes and sizes - dare I say all breeds? And some are over fifteen years old!
A feature article?A feature article?...
As well as rambling paths and over-grown borders, my garden does have some proper features, worthy of note : wee stone retaining walls, wooden bridges, a Koru shaped brick courtyard, a Herb Spiral, and so on. I need to make features of these lovely features. Write a feature article, perhaps?
New Year Resolutions for 2023New Year Resolutions for 2023...
OK. Let's get them over with - my New Years Resolutions for 2023. Firstly, to remember the new year date. Hee hee - that's a mature person's problem, yes? Where 'What day is it?' transforms into 'What year is it?'
