A colourful month!
After a busy singing weekend I have plenty of time to be in my garden. November is such a colourful month with irises, roses, lupins galore, and the mid to late season rhododendrons. Lots of noisy birds and busy bees are out and about.
Have just had my breakfast on the Minimus Memorial Seat. Didn't talk to her much, but enjoyed keeping her company. As did a couple of whistling bellbirds, a honking pheasant behind the pond, and a nosy and rather smoochy Fred cat. One is never alone for long when one sits in nature.

Am now back inside waiting for the camera battery to recharge so I can take some photographs of a resprouting deciduous Azalea. I really want to do November photographic justice.
A list!
Will put my plans for today in a list, hopefully not too scary. Don't mind if all my clothes get covered in forget-me-not seeds. Might help me remember all the things that need doing, hee hee.
- Weed annual grasses.
- Collect barrow loads of old forget-me-nots, spread around the garden.
- Plant veggies (the nights have gone cold again, so hope everything will be OK).
- Plant strawberries and two tomatoes in big patio pots.
And all this is to be completed before lunchtime. So there.
Lunchtime...
Nope. Didn't finish. But I have been busy and happy, and I don't think it matters at all that I might have been a bit slow. Or that I can't do the sudokos in the weekly local newspaper. What matters is that I enjoy my November garden.

The Back Lawn Has Been Mown
Add the following to the list of things that I didn't know - Mozart only wrote half of 'his' Requiem, in which I've just sung alto. Wow. Interesting. The work certainly has some amazing moments. Not sure now if they are actually Mozart's, though.
Back I go...
Right. Back into the garden I go, this time with serious intentions to finish something.
