Finish, start...

Ivory Prince Hellebore
Good morning. Today I intend to finish some things and start others. An incredibly deep and meaningful statement, this! The underlying workings of gardening life - on any day, any week, any month or year.
Much later...
Yeay! How good? I might have to produce a list of achievements, hee hee. And all done with a slightly sore back (probably caused by throwing heavy bags of rotted horse manure around).
No bending!
So no bending was allowed - just sitting or standing. And I looooove my 'new' Salewa gardening boots - they are my old walking boots, which I've replaced.
What I've done so far...
I planted the new Azaleas so I'll walk past them to the cottage. I trimmed ferns by the wee castle in the driveway garden, and tried (unsuccessfully) to locate some hidden Hostas for transplanting. Might have to buy new ones. I lose Hostas.
Then I dug up more Lamium from the Jelly Bean Border. This was easier than I thought it would be - it's obviously a newish arrival, with a superficial root system. One of the Fred cats kept me company.

Finished the day by dragging old tree branches to the bonfire and burning everything, including more rose prunings.
Too boring?
Too boring and detailed? Because the biggest achievement isn't even listed - I also processed all the new Agapanthus clumps into divisions. And most of the Renga Renga, which I've squashed into pots with potting mix. Yeay for the kitchen steak knife! The perfect tool.

Pink Camellias in the Wattle woods
Went to bed early, very happy. Am bed-travelling around the strange island of Madagascar with a brilliant travel writer. Quite an adventure.
